What They Do
Signal computer to adjust air/fuel mixture based on changes in barometric and manifold air pressure.
Failure Symptoms
Poor engine operation, black smoke, stalling, surging and catalytic converter overheating can occur.
Maintenance/Service
Inspect during tune-up. Look for misrouted, collapsed, cracked or clogged vacuum lines. Check for corrosion on
